My Journey

I am a single mother of a beautiful 2 year old boy.

Since I was a young child, I had a longing to be closer to God.

Over the years, I have sought answers through scripture, religion, tradition, family and friends, but I still could not find the connection that I had been looking for.

Through truly challenging times and feelings of complete hopelessness and fear, I finally found my own way to connect with God. And now He is truly my partner in life and the one that I ultimately depend on.

I want you to find the same joy, peace and security that I have found in Him and to see how different your life can be if you just sit and have a little ice cream with God.

Ice Cream Satisfies the Soul

In today’s world, it is hard to find the quiet and the solitude needed to seek a higher truth – a more intimate part of ourselves.

Stress and day-to-day routine seem to ensue us and keeping up with society’s expectations have overcome the most important and most genuine piece of ourselves – the soul.

The closer we can connect to God and to our true self, the more fulfilled we can become. If we can just stretch ourselves a little bit more and in a way that we step outside of the box, we can hear God speak to us in ways that we never thought imaginable.

Taking time out while engaging in time-in activities will help us to satisfy a part of ourselves that we knowingly or unknowingly long to nurture and grow in.

Chocolate Chip? Mint? Rocky Road?

Whatever your preference, I believe that some of the ideas here will help you to pull up a chair right next to the Almighty One and help you to connect with Him over a simple treat!

I share some of my most personal stories with you so that you, too, can see how I have found my partner in life and how I have come to love and to understand One who is invisible to the eye, yet clearly present to the soul.

Here, you will learn how to connect with Him while doing everyday tasks and routines and develop a connection that will help guide you with everyday decisions and challenges.

I truly believe that God wants nothing more than to share in your day with you and to invite you out for an ice cream cone! With sprinkles of love, of course!
